Cala Figuera, Formentor - The Best Secret Beaches in Mallorca

Mallorca North Coast

Cala Figuera, Formentor

Cala Figuera beach on the Formentor Peninsula, is a small pebbled cove in the very north of Mallorca.  About 40 m wide and flanked by the rocky cliff edges of the tail end of the Tramuntana Mountains, this tiny beach with clear aquamarine water is one of Mallorca's best kept secrets. It isn’t unusual to see goats scampering across your path, you are in the wilds of Mallorca here and to get to the beach you will have to walk for about 15 minutes.

14 Km by car from Puerto Pollensa. Drive past the Formentor Hotel for 4 Km and park on the side of the road. The start of the path is clearly signposted and a small rough trail will then lead you down through pine trees to the beach. Good footwear is recommended as are supplies and plenty of water as this, like all the best beaches in Mallorca, is entirely devoid of facilities and there are no buildings in sight.
